I fell in love with him
At the age of four.
I didn't know him well
But he captured my heart.
Grandma's stories about him
Made me love him more.

As I grew older, I started searching
him, in the book written about him.
He became my comfort, my shelter
and my greatest strength.

In him I found joy, happiness and peace
When life's storms rocked me hard,
I found solace in the sweetness of his words.

Let me reveal who he is
He is the merciful and faithful high Priest,
Captain of our salvation,
The author and finisher of our faith,
The mediator of the new covenant,
Son of God,
Jesus Christ.
