Chocolate - Poem by Mukta Sawant

There is one thing,
That you, me and even our pets,
Had loved to ate,
And no one can hate,
It's sweet in taste,
So our mouth doesn't wait,
Sometimes date,
Sometimes milk,
As soft as silk,
Sometimes white,
Sometimes black,
No one can say "waaaaaaak"
It can make anyone crack,
It's in plastic pack,
Lovers can't give it even for lack,
It's just my crazy met,
Lives in my heart's net,
Can't you guess it yet?
Its name is chocolate.

Although chocolate is against my religion of Diabeticolism, I like the way you put the subject in poetic rendition and in rhyme scheme. Keep up the good job and continue composing poems. (Report) Reply

Enjoyed this poem. Maybe you should think about a different title that doesn't give it away from the beginning, Good work nontheless, well done! (Report) Reply
