Chocolate And Spring Flowers - Poem by Marilyn Lott

Of course it isn't a secret
That chocolate is the way
To send so many messages
You can change somebody's day

Can you just possibly imagine how
It would be to have a full table
Of every form of chocolate there is
Sample them all if you are able

At the same time spring flowers
In vases, yards and city parks
Brilliant and fragrant as well
What a way for springtime to start

I hope that you too are enjoying
Chocolate if you love it like me
Spring time flowers wherever you go
Exactly where you want them to be!

Don't we all just love chocolate, and flowers. Lovely poem. (Report) Reply

Unwritten Soul, some people just enjoy giving poets a low score. I gues that's what makes THEM happy! Thanks for your comment. Thank you as well, Adeline! I will read your poem. (Report) Reply

Yes a lovely poem and it described my daughters 'city park chocolate picnic' to a T. She had not been able to eat chocolate until she was 18, so I collected, as you said, a full table of every form of chocolate I could. A ready-made poem, lovely. Read mine - Mother Dear, Oh Mother Dear -
