Christmas 2015 With Grand Daughters At Annville Paradise Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

This week, three grand daughters came to visit us
They had Christmas vacation from their school.
They chatted and laughed, night and day
Special joy filled heir hearts and happiness shined on their faces.
We, grand parents, drove them to different places.
Each granddaughter was given one day to choose
where to eat and where to shop.
Several times, they stopped at Disney's store
They enjoyed their childhood fantasies.
They felt too old to play play-dough
But more interested in constructing Lego.
Together, they built multi-level luxury cruise ship.
They built hotel resort with entertainments.
There were two swing sets in the house.
They sprang high on these swings, every day.
Their laughs were as crystal and explosive as firecrackers.
Rhyming sounds of these swings reminded me of times
when they were with their mother in the hammock.
On the swings, they recountedindividual stories of their likes.
They verbalized their wishes of where they wanted to shop
and what restaurants to eat their meals.
The first day, they enjoyed their lunches at Red Lobster
Before they had a good time at Hershey Museum.
Next day, they ate at Red Robin restaurant.
Then, the following day, they enjoyed their meals at Subway.
They visited Chocolate World every day
But the best time for them at that place was on the New Year day
When they stopped there on their way to go home.
They were accompanied by their father, younger brother and grandparents.
They were so happy together and they played, chatted and laughed.
Then they all cried when they had to say goodbyes to grandparents.

BA CHÁU GÁI NGHỈ CHRISTMAS 2015 Ở ANNVILLE PARADISE

Tuần này, ba cháu lên chơi
Mùa này lễ nghỉ Chúa Con ra đời
Vui nhiều, cháu nói, cháu cười
Lòng đầy hạnh phúc, cháu vui cuộc đời.
Ông bà chở cháu đi chơi
Mỗi ngày, ba cháu chọn nơi, chương trình.
Mấy lần ghé tiệm Disney
Lòng còn vương vấn chút gì trẻ thơ.
Lớn rồi, cháu nghỉ playdough
Nhưng mà cháu thích Lego thật nhiều.
Cùng nhau cháu lắp du thuyền
Cháu xây khách sạn với nhiều thứ chơi
Xích đu mắc ở trong phòng
Mỗi ngày ba cháu cùng ngồi đu cao.
Giọng cười như pháo dòn tang
Tiếng đu kẽo kẹt nhắc ngày mẹ ru.
Cháu ngồi, nhắc truyện cháu ưa
Chợ nào cháu muốn, tiệm nào ăn trưa...
Ngày đầu, ăn Red Lobster
Ăn Xong, cháu ghé Hershey Muse'm.
Ngày sau, ăn Red Robin
Rồi ngày sau nữa, bánh mì Subway.
Hershey Choc'late mỗi ngày
Nhưng cháu thích nhất là ngày đầu năm.
Ghé đây luôn tiện về nhà
Lần này cùng với ông bà, cha, em.
Cháu vui, cháu dỡn, cười nhiều
Thế rồi, cháu khóc buổi chiều chia tay.
