Judy Weaver: Ronnie's Heroine
Investigating his suspicious death
Where in hospital he would draw his last breath
Having sustained a severe head injury
Supposedly from a bicycle accident.
But Judy suspicious: in reality not a dream
Ronnie's bicycle nowhere near the crime scene
Police ruling it an accidental death
But Judy was to find the truth
Vowing until she drew her last breath.
Pretending Ronnie alive and talking
She did interview people out walking
Near the property her son got hurt
Knowing life couldn't get much worse
The death of her son feeling like a curse.
But Jay to point a gun at Judy
Later known as the drug dealer Jason
All the while daughter Debbie
Doing all the investigative paperwork
Knowing she had to make the research work.
Later a police officer to befriend Judy
Taking the case to the cold case team
Experts finding witnesses weren't what they seem
Their accounts of the nighttime attack changing
Now knowing Jason struck Ronnie hard,
Leaving him to slowly die in the front yard
Later having his life support machine turned off
A devastating decision and loss
Ronnie dying for having confronted Jason
And tragically getting very cross.
Jason to die before sentencing of an overdose
Judy dying peacefully a few years later
But Ronnie brought Judy back to her maker
And proud of Judy's persistence and strength
For Judy and Debbie deserve a medal in first place.
