City Life Poem by Rebecca Navarre

City Life

Starlight, midnight. One by
one out go the houses lights.
All in a row, what flickered
bright, once flowing vibrant
with life. Now darkened to
my sight. Curl up snuggle
into blankets tight. Shut off
the phone. As if nobody's
home. And at last I feel alone.
