Climate Change Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Climate Change

A vision, envisioning; Rest easy dear sweetness
Tomorrow shall wake only hours away
An everlasting perfect day
Sleep well, for Thine foretold shall then fade

Thus far, a stone must endure each season
Long after all that follows
A wind and whisper; Replacing the laughter
Once above All' was always heard

Still, there are so many summers
Each becoming more
Burning away the green of, Season
Leaving only a shadow in the ashy storm

Cloudy mists form of carbon gasses
Two storms that never allow the light of day
Dust storms blowing winds eroding
Once there was; Forever gone away

Once upon a winter story
Somewhere, some time from yesterday
When born came to think and wonder
Ignoring warning, and climate change

Now they sleep beneath the heater burning
None has survived the longest day
Dreams to wake are long forgotten
Only breeds of insects- Still Remain
