I know that he watches me
He even recognizes the way that I walk
He pretends that I don't know
So I forget that he is there
Years have passed but we're still pretending
Who knows how long it will last
Days in between until we cross each other's path
Who knows when it will no longer be enough
I know that I am haunting his dreams
I see it in the way he looks at me each time that our eyes finally meet
Cold nightmares find their way into me
Until I find myself safely into his arms
