Closure - Poem by Chatara Conway

The ending of it all
the pain and suffering
the acceptance is not hard
the love is fading

the moon speaks
the sun shines
stars twinkle
like your eyes

you were perfect in the eyes of your child
you lit her her heart with just a smile
you found love in a lover
your daughter, now, opens the door to closure
