i was standing
beneath a tree
watching rain
water cascade
from leaf to leaf
then to my head
am part of a tree
i did let it flow
i extend my palms
collecting water
i become fountain
dripping to grass
i am soaking wet
including my feet
when rain stop i
i become me, alone
