Colossal Idol Of Love Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Colossal Idol Of Love

Rating: 5.0

He blanched at the words she said when they met last.
With pride, spleen and hate, she goes off the heaven.
These flaws in a boffin make him look aghast
and he blandly smiles as for no cause they're riven.

Though she hates him, she is the colossal idol
of their love in the pedestal of his mind.
She tickles him to face the forces tidal
and be the smiling nimphet of his life so kind.

Though she wants to avoid meeting his eyes
the Providence brings them somewhere face to face.
When he flatters her, she knows his words are lies
yet she bears, feigns to scare and is free to 'maze.

How long the darker clouds rein themselves from raining
