Like into a kaleidoscope I peeped,
One eye squeezed shut
And the other one open wide,
Mouth open agape
My ears to your heart,
Your love unfolds,
In patterns and rhythms
In colours and contrasts
sometimes single sometimes together
Moving all together, iridescence,
They twist and turn and become butterflies,
from the edge of your white sleeve
they fly into the blue sky,
The wind blows dreamily by
Eyes half shut in your arms,
Unspoken are the words
That I must say to you now,
The thoughts seems quite too
Read them, read them
Left on my lips
Take them, take them
That tender kiss,
In red and oranges, yellow and gold
Black and white, songs untold
Colours of beauty unfolds!
a lovely romance in that intimacy...beautifully done as usual....10
Hail the Day Greek the lover speaks when unaware The language of love is not like the one You read and you write goes to the worms What you see and feel is the soul of being Much spoken is this for real and unreal What self is to unself but the songs of the birds Wake me up for the beauty of the day The big men fall like the tower of Pisa in recline Hail the day whose evening shall see the happy verse Once again my love come that way That way when my eyes would wait for long The way when the cold dew would fall On the burning heat of desire in my bosom
captivating... indeed life colors the world and makes everything beautiful!
Simply stunning writing Reshma. The images of the kaleidoscope stayed with me through your poem and I could see it all, in all its splendor. So imaginative and romantic. 10 Karin Anderson
