Comes A Storm Poem by Tracey Owens

Comes A Storm

Rating: 5.0

The storm is coming
In slowly towards the town.
Lightening flashes across the
gloomy night sky.
Thunder rolls across
The town.

The first rain dropp falls
And the storm breaks
Through the sky.

The wind picks up
As it continues to rain.
The leaves are blowing
Roughly as the breeze
Comes through the trees.

The Storm last until
The next morning comes.
The damage is done
To the small town.
With needed construction,
A change has occured.
A new day and a new start
Is now possible for the town
