Comfortable Or Happiness? - Poem by Wildman Fortwaltonbeach

Pursuit to fill one’s void begins so clear
The overwhelming need to love and belong together
The bliss and uniqueness of initial harmony and sensuality
Immune to irratic, swelling negative quagmires
Self satisfied yet deprived of security, hope and desire
In the blindness of JUST being comfortable
Unconsciously the truths daring change inside me
Colliding dreams of tradition and independence battle
Contentment brings anonymity of goosebumps calling
Yearning for sensations of touch, always new, exhillerating
Blended honest illusions in a game of challenging, daily dance
Passively drawn, frozen by repetitive habits of others
Truths overlooked from an unknown, camoflauged chance
Desire for comfortable anonymity overwhelming
Still nameless to all but one, my inner being calling to me
'What ever happened to happiness? '
