Comfortable With Defeat Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Comfortable With Defeat

Those accepting a challenge,
Without knowing who against they compete.
Either do it with belief,
They are incapable of losing.
Or have become so comfortable with defeat,
They could care less who the competitor is...
Or who it could be with a wish to see them destroyed.

'Remember me? '

~Oh no! ~

'That's okay.
I said that many years ago.
But from you I have learned many lessons.
Are you ready? '
