Coming To Terms With Reality Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Coming To Terms With Reality

Calmly settled into a contemplative mood, attitude positive
along with a quietly, silent mood, as this mind tip-toes
down hallways of yesterday's memories, never being way-laid.

Exercising, coming to terms with reality as it's riddled con-
tinually with the pain of hardship, sacrifices and turmoil
mostly caused by others.

People who aren't content with their own lives here on earth,
forgetting that our lives are only temporary, waltzing always
interiorly in paths of destiny.
