Commodities Of Our Day Poem by Walterrean Salley

Commodities Of Our Day

Rating: 5.0

The commodities of
Our day and time;
That's the subject
Of this rhyme.

Beans, peas.
Silver, and gold.
Tomato, cheese.
Iron, and coal.

Money, trees.
Toys, and knobs.
Honey, bees.
Services, and jobs.

Cars, trucks,
And lemonade.
Bread. Wood.
Steel, and blades.

All such items—
Buy and sell.
Or, perhaps,
To trade as well.

Commodities of
Our day and time;
That's the subject
Of this rhyme.
