Communication Poem by Tom Billsborough

Communication

Rating: 2.8

In dreams, perhaps,
The hand that sows the stars
Made forgotten music sound
Like the note of an immense lyre
And to our lips came a humble wave
Of a few words of truth.

Interesting... Not sure if I totally get it. (I see your linguistic skills far exceed your modest claims - typical Englishman...) . The poem made me think of a thought I once had: If stars are musical notes & galaxies are melodies, then perhaps the universe is the grandest symphony of all: ~}

I did post a reply but it seems to have disappeared. I suppose by forgotten he is thinking of the fact that it is only recently that the sounds of the Universe have become more apparent. I like your image very mich, Laurie. I can read Spanish well enough but haven't spoken it for many years so I'm not that good! My French is much better really. I write French verse but I wouldn't attempt it in Spanish!
