Comparing Travels Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Comparing Travels

How dare you compare,
Your travels to observe and see.
A civil unrest in other countries,
In which people are fighting...
To have acknowledge the right,
Of having their dignities...
Ethnic identities,
And choice to choose...
Who they pray to to do.
And you dare to compare,
Your way of life...
Of doing as you please,
To destroy the rights...
Given to protect,
Those born from birth...
Living in a diverted democracy.
Where did you travel,
To believe...
Your deceiving entitlements,
Gives you the right...
To be both judge and jury.
And left blinded without insight!
