Compassion Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Compassion

Rating: 5.0

You must keep your eyes open
For those who are deprived and hungry
Must not pass them in the streets
When they come for help feeling angry

You must say words of justice
For those who suffer discrimination
You must come out in support
For the weak who live in humiliation

You must share your wealth
To end the wars and establish peace
To the hungry orphans living
In the streets you must embrace and kiss

This life is worth nothing if
The heart does not weep for the poor
If half of the world lives in
Hunger and ignorance and constant fear
