Composed After Emperor’s Poems About Going To Hot Spring

★ Composed After Emperor’s Poems About Going to Hot Spring

☆ Poetry by Li Zhen (627-688, Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Empress coaches is better than Imperatorial carriage
Travel Emperor’s Lishan garden in proper order
Soak hot spring
Corner of the mountain winds a warm rivulet
Cold air outside it
Above the pool hot vapour floating
Trees wither and parocheth shadows here
Clouds gather and canopy shadows disappear
Frosting outskirts in a wonderful mood overlook
Jagged scenery of the sunset good
