'' Concurrence Among Humans, Is Rare ''

Rating: 3.3

Meriting a mention,
Was not my intention,
But consequences arise from our actions,
It's a bone of contention,
This art of invention,
Will I need to make some redactions?

What's written or said,
Now outside the head,
Can be totally misconstrued,
Listened to or read,
Alive becomes dead,
Their comments leave you feeling subdued.

Some will praise,
Your spirits they'll raise,
You'll then get the flags unfurled,
Your words amaze,
Your mind is ablaze,
You're feeling on top of the world.

Others will complain,
You're totally insane,
Your right to free speech they'll deny,
You have to refrain,
From causing them pain,
It's enough to make a grown man cry.

Context's the key,
Could you mean me?
Is it whether it's said or written?
Whatever you see,
Someone doesn't agree,
By controversy you then become smitten.

Be it saying or writing,
It will cause fighting,
From each other we need to beware,
What to some is inviting,
To others it's inciting,
