Other peppers (we call them chillies) lasts a year or two.

The black pepper (white when garbled) are small round fruit and comes in a peppercorn… These peppers grow on pepper vines… Pepper vines climb on soft trees and last many decades. But harvests only once a year.. harvest season Is Dec-Jan

Sweet peppers are just sweet, but hot peppers (red chillies) make it great! And of course you have the white (garbled) peppers, which grows only in Kerala. You tell me Richard, I have it in my orchard….
