Conditioned To Have Patience Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Conditioned To Have Patience

If you dislike what you see...
At least you have options.
You can turn around and leave.

I don't like what I see or hear...
Breathe, taste, confront or made to tolerate,
On a daily basis.

I've been conditioned to have patience.
And to believe that the 'afterlife'...
Is abundant for me in opportunity!
