'Congress' - Comprehensive...Analytical...Interpretation - Poem by James B. Earley

'Political Contribution'
...That Congressional resolution
.....To 'BRIBERY'S' intrusion

Joint-session collusion
...Conspiratorial infusion

Inject semantical illusion
Thus..'Political Contribution'

..Ah...Bipartisan solution!

Author's note:
.......And so, a disingenuous Congress, exhibiting rare bipartisanship, unabashedly enacted 'campaign finance reform legislation, ' strategically replacing nefarious financial practices, with the semantical subrogation...'The Political Contribution! '

I wish I didn't agree but, I do. Every day we hear of more of the same.
Very upsetting and looks like nothing will ever 'change! '

    Warm Wishes,
    Marilyn

It would have been wonderful 'if' thirty years ago, or less,
we all had embraced reality as fact opposed to fiction.

Yes I really didn't want to read this, knowing it would just piss me off more. And it did,
and that proves it is well written and truthful. Brings to mind the old adage; 'with friends like these..'
