Congruity Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Congruity

Let me possess peace of mind,
For I cannot sleep at night;
Let me leave my doubts behind,
Let me just think of delight.

Allow my heart to enjoy
The accord and harmony;
My aim is not to annoy,
But to make you feel happy.

Allow my eyes to just glow,
As I see the joy in you;
My teardrops that overflow
Want to fade into the blue.

All my life I'm so grateful
For this exceptional chance;
For this job I'm so thankful,
Your wishes are my commands.

I'm doing my very best,
As I walk the extra mile;
Amid the trial and test,
I just want to see you smile.
