Consequences Of Corruption Poem by Sandra Feldman

Consequences Of Corruption

Rating: 5.0

Bad winds are blowing,
Throughout our land,
Excesses, accumulating,
Truly out of hand,
Those responsible,
For them, no reprimand,
Many things are crumbling!
Very hard to understand,
How those now who have power,
Have been making wrong decisions
Roughly written in the sand.

I believe many of America's problems would be solved with a constitutional amendment outlawing financial contributions to politicians and having all electioneering and political campaigns paid for in strictly limited amounts by taxpayers.

This is a universal phenomenon! A person with some sense of propriety and fairness will feel so appalled to see the growing corruption and misuse of power to achieve selfish gains! Unfortunately there is none to bell the cat! A very thoughtful write!
