Cooped Up Poem by Lauren Coles

Cooped Up

Cooped up
The year goes by in a blur,
The year has four seasons,
One is the worst of all,
People want to be outside all the time,
Experience the seasons in their fullest,
Winter can stay in the closet,
The old winter accessories are dying to get out of the closet after taking a long nap,
Kids are off from school,
Board games are the only source of entertainment,
Kids are like annoying flies that won't leave you alone,
Faces pressed against the window breath makes foggy mist on the window, ,
People are overjoyed to get out of the house after a long winter.
