Count From Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Count From

Rating: 5.0

I counted from one to ten
It struck to me all of sudden
It can be played musically
The meaning was hidden really

One stood for mother and no other
Two forced me to share responsibility on shoulder
Three was forcing me to feel free
Four was for solid relation and not to feel sour

Five was clear indicator to survive
Six was not putting anybody in fix
Seven was for turning earth in to heaven
Eight was make others happy with delight

Nine was for eternal peace and to feel divine
Ten is for all to enjoy bright sun and its shine
“Was this all within our reach” I failed to answer
The earth was dry for the want of rainy shower

If we can make little use of numbers
The peace can be had even among family members
If we can show solidarity at home
We can present it to all and welcome

“It is easy to preach” people blast me
“There is nothing wrong to search” if advice comes free
I will feel not bad at all for my brethren
As it should be the only concern for all
