Counting And Correcting Poem by Indira Renganathan

Counting And Correcting

Umpteen mistakes
Every day at its end has

Why do we pray
First in the morning
Every day

Moon goes on
Leave for a day

Every night keeps awake
Musing on its day's
Behaviour

Moon's back to grow
Fully full bright

Every day alike
Freshly renewed

What do we pray for
First in the morning
Every day

Hope is waxed only by
Counting and correcting
Every day
