Courting Lady Wisdom
Aging night invites me for company
In desolation heart’s wandering
Lover seeking love in warm fantasy
In Lost-Love Island, love searching
Memories fleeting as in movie scenes
Reality forsaken, imagination unfettered
I stroll in my forbidden garden of dreams
Sit with my love, whose love is unabated
My heart weaves a love poem for her
Garland her heart with words of roses
Unabashedly she melts into arms of lover
Listens to my throbs, lovingly advises
She enlightens my every tomorrow
Clearing briars on new paths I follow
Guiding and inspiring me to move on
Whispering inner voice: my Lady wisdom
