Cover Your Mouth Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Cover Your Mouth

Rating: 5.0

D-awn twenty-second December
O-pens the day with light;
N-ight cold chill disappears,
N-ew morn sets things
A-right.

D-arkness has vanished,
E-arly beacon is burning bright;
L-et Thursday be beautiful,
O-ne warm weather is in
S-ight.

S-hadows, dusk, and twilight
A-re all nowhere in view;
N-o more mist and haze
T-o make your birthday blue.
O-pen your mind to the truth, no more reason to doubt;
S-o when lies long to destroy, let your hand cover your mouth.
