Coverlets Of Sadness In Death Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Coverlets Of Sadness In Death

Watching as this world continues to revolve around us, keeping our hearts beneath coverlets of sadness and sorrow.

Always wanting to be held in a mysterious magic that now enfolds us in its special tender and embellished thoughts of love that we've had for one another many years now.

All these years our hearts have been one, now your head is lying on a satin pillow, rosary in hand, eyes closed on earth forever, this heart breaking in two many pieces.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I purposely wrote two many pieces, meaning broken in half.
