You phoned up to tell me
You are leaving for Delhi
To be with your sons and the kids
And to observe the Remembrance Day
Of your beloved husband-
He left you five years back as on the day
I wish you a nice time
With your kith and kin
In the capital city

As for me, I have once again started
writing poems
After a gap of almost ten years
Refreshing my romance
With my ideas, with my words
A hobby I enjoy along with many

Years roll by, events occur,
pass on, recur
How fast does the time move?
Life moves along with it-
Leaving out something
Picking up something else
Rejoicing in everything
It re-discovers

Crazy life!
