Crisis Overcome Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Crisis Overcome

Rating: 5.0

An advantage in being poor?

Ask men or women
why each never left?
During the bad times
the sad times?

Reason is?
They had nowhere...
else to go?
Could not afford
to go?
Truth be known?

Sometimes things
come clean in wash.
Sometimes.

It’s easier to go than to stay?
Pain is so intense.
Sometimes. Pain hurts. Horribly. Mutates. Mutilates.

Dear Terence- I these trying economic times, the title to this one seemed to pull me in. Life is a journey and some are blessed with wealth while others can do no more than hope those with weatlth will do the right things with it. It's unfortunate that most waste it on their own decadence while watching or even ignoring what gifts they could share. Here in the states, what we pay one sports team could save entire villages of starving people and offer them hope. It truly shows that we have learned nothing from the gifts God offered to balance existence and all those who share life within it. May the gift of knowledge you share continue to enhance the world. Best Wishes to You and Yours My Friend~ Peace~ James
