Crossroads Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Crossroads

Rating: 5.0

Embroider me - a life free of you
Embroider me - a life free of your obsession
You needed $$$ and targeted me
...You have been a very upsetting lesson.

Embroider me a gate that never opens to you
...A path now illuminated by your friends
Spain and Emily failed so now you have Larry
...Using him and his as a means to your ends?

Embroider me the crossroads of your life
...Your once home now empty and alone
Embroider me an electrician- -
...Whose porn and drugs have turned his heart to stone.

I doubt he is going to stop - he is incapable of ceasing and desisting. At least that is what one person involved in law has said to me...he loves to intimidate...frighten...and belittle. We are NEVER letting our guard down no matter where his or his elves may be....He has one on FB with a super imposed pic...new to FB as of March 17 according to my very reliable source.

Theo, this is so heart-wrenching. The words- -embroider me- - were so vivid and descriptive. Why do people make the wicked destructive choices that they do? I am glad you make the choices you do- -to write and share your poems with the world of poem lovers. 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
