Cry To Your Death Poem by Cora Lee

Cry To Your Death

Rating: 3.2

Sushh, little children,
do not let them hear.

Back away from the fire,
yet you go near.

Laugh little people,
shun from your sins.

Face the pain,
and see who wins.

Cough sick elders,
you've grown your life well.

Playing the cards,
some wish never delt.

Race my family,
quick towards your grave.

Fall into the hole,
that I so sincerly gave.

This may be the most curious poem I have ever read. It seems so clear in what it says. Yet, I cannot say that I truly understood a single line. I would normally give such a poem a 6. I gave this one an 8 however. I keep thinking I could have missed something. GW62
