Curtain Down

The curtain is down

How come people become thick skinned
When they have sinned
Not only for the self
But amassed more thanthe requirement in the shelf

We hear about the wealth accumulated
Even by the lower placed person and get arrested
Such is the scene in our society
Can't we feel pity?

The politicians talked about morality
Took oath in the name of an almighty
Sworn in with holy pledge
But crossed the barrier line with an edge

The money matter takes worst turn
When you expect some return
From social service
And forget the promises given

You are observed by millions of people
When you have become celebrity of your own
Little deviation from path or overexposure
Brings doom for the future

Mr Lalu Prasadhas paid heavy price
For not keeping pace
With changing mood
He could not judge the direction of wind
