Cut Them Some Slack Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Cut Them Some Slack

Deceivers are finally discovering,
How difficult these days have become...
To keep a hoodwinking done kept effective.
Then attempt to prove,
What they have done to do...
Should not have their credibility suspected.
And that any evidence of truth produced,
To deny the existence of it.
Had been an oversight.
And not a premeditated intention.
Or should have their integrity disqualified.
Since everyone is not without flaws.
And to at least cut them some slack,
Whenever the facts...
Just happens to contradict,
The sincerity of their intentions.
