Cyrus Mistry - A Tribute To A Tycoon

Man with all his greatness and wealth
man with all his popularity and eminence
man with all his prosperity and sophistication;
man with all his might and right,
man with all his grace and glory
never anticipates or judges when he will have to confront
that eternal fate of destiny.

No force of gravity or generosity
no power of care or remedy
no reasons of negligence or miscalculations
can save or exclude anyone from
what is ordained by a factor called eternity
though much love one may hold in his hands
though much enthusiasm one may have in his limbs.

And as man journeys thro' those highways of success,
and bypasses the terrains of hardships,
nothing can ever prevent or divert reality
from sudden and unexpected tragedy
which often is so fatal and heart-breaking;
but before the authority of God
no one can ever escape what befalls one's fate.

Only our own eyes fail to foresee what is coming
only our own mind fails to foretell what will happen
yet a man of self-confidence never fears tomorrow
when he accomplishes all what is written on those pages
of his diary of fulfillment and obligations
and it is only when all the chapters of life he examines
he still awaits an elevation of his endurance
but death chooses to come by as a friend
and asks him to walk along to attain his rest.

So elegant and regal was he
who truly lived in simplicity and sincerity
but one's nature becomes transparently visible
to others eyes only when one goes far away
from one's sight and reach
and it is then too late to change things
or to believe in the absence of such a man
as when he leaves, he imbibes in others
an intriguing sense of grief in their hearts;
and as no chance was left to bid goodbye
or give that hug of final farewell
to a man of wonder and glamour
the river of regrets begins to overflow.

And while the world will sigh in bewilderment
that a man though so majestic and affluent
was traveling in a car with no pride
never expecting it to be his last ride,
life always holds its own measure of time
to capture and conquer all one dreams in this world
but the most valuable treasure men leaves back
on this earth are memories which are
sometimes so engrossing and sorrowful
sometimes so praiseworthy and heartwarming.
