Dad's Sacrifice Poem by Walterrean Salley

Dad's Sacrifice

Rating: 5.0

A loving father, God gave to me.
His sacrifices, I cannot tell.
He gave his best for his family,
That by grace they might do well.

A poor man with very little,
He toiled to make ends meet:
To pay the bills, provide a home
And shoes for his family's feet.

He was proud of his children,
And so glad to be a part
Of our lives in every way.
How he loved us from the heart.
