Daily With Trust Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Daily With Trust

Daily with trust

I would love to put
My head over her feet
And silently greet
And anxiously meet

I know no heaven
When driven at home
My eyes wait at door
For kind mother

She is there looking for
I am reaching safely there
Her eyes get cold warmth
I am back home with her faith

But incidence shook my faith
Recent one in Delhi for causing death
Of her new born baby girl
Mind that, she is educated, rich and nice individual

From the day one she disliked new born
She wanted to get rid of baby girl in turn
She got chance and strangulated
The small and little girl was pushed in A/C unused

It is news of the day
Even though she is taken away
As her claim was proved false
Now she is behind bar but with no curse

But this may be isolated incidence
I get pleasure with her presence
Today she is not there among us
But I pray for her peace daily with trust
