Dainty Saint Poem by Kayode Are

Dainty Saint

Seldom would my baby cry
What now the squeals amid lullaby
Can we drown the tears in playful song
Would a warm hug make you strong
Can your blabber throttle the flow of tears
Will the sparkle in your eyes banish fear
Little dainty saint with puffy cheeks
We rock on my feet in steady streaks
Heaven cascades your infantile gum
Moodiness scuttle into brightening glow
Our laughter clears away dirty gloom
Happy when I sweep you into my arms
I am worn simply by your charms
Which soothe felicity off its clam
