Dance The Waltz With Me Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Dance The Waltz With Me

Rating: 5.0

Dance the Waltz with me; let me be your partner.
Hold my hand as I reach to give it to you.
Look to my eyes, there you shall see a lover
Who would stay with love even nights may pass through.

Dance the Waltz with me; do not mind what’s around.
It’s just you and me like there are no one else.
In halls and ballrooms where love is, we are found
Dressed for the occasion where the music dwells.

Dance the Waltz with me; let the masquerade end.
Let me see your face, not just your lovely eyes.
For in me I say you are more than a friend;
Kiss the sound and beat that shall meet no demise.

On red petals of love, together we dance
Being free to move whatever be the stance.
