Dangling Hopes From Promises Once Made Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Dangling Hopes From Promises Once Made

Rocking into tunnels of life as it has a foothold on emotions
that take one into a desert of depression, wanton loneliness
that never seems to part ways with any of humanity.

Taking all people to task, never wanting to let them move into
realms of freedom and liberty, dangling hopes being emitted from
promises once made.

Humanity seems to always delve into an underground of recognizable
stances that lead into tunnels of darkness, wanting people to ex-
perience the distance from happiness and joy.

Awaiting, departing and jostling for first place no matter what
anyone seems to think, a resonating and beating of drums as the
band keeps time with rhythms.

Sounding all through the night, being calmed and soothed through
musical increments over positive moods, talently bringing to mind
the feelings and emotions that have been let loose in music.
