Daughter—confidant—best Friend Poem by Walterrean Salley

Daughter—confidant—best Friend

Rating: 5.0

When God gave me you,
He certainly gave the best.
A dear and loving child,
For which I'm truly blessed.
The kindness you've shown,
Lingers within my heart.
And your caring ways
Will always be a part
Of the cherished thoughts
I'll ever hold for you—
My daughter, confidant,
And best friend too.

(Written,2004, for a friend
to present to one of her
three daughters)
