This candle burns,
It burns for you,
Taking me back,
To memories past.
Of butterflies,
Of morning dew,
Memories remain,
Forever to last.
When summer sun,
Glowed down upon,
Our many moments,
Placed upon,
The town we loved,
The place we smiled,
For being with you,
Was so worthwhile.
If only we were young and then,
We'd be together once again,
In gentle breeze,
Our hands held tight,
I'll hold that memory,
Day and night.
