Day Light Saving Night (Senryu) Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Day Light Saving Night (Senryu)

Rating: 5.0

Two-thirty clock time
Daylight saving starts tonight.
I'm inspired to write.

I turn on deck light.
Outdoor cats await outside.
They watch me, I type.

Cats waive their tails high.
Frosted dews reflect night light.
Deck shining with ice.

A very cold night
All leaves got frozen alive
As frost became ice.

Not yet feeding time,
Cats watch me with begging eyes.
I bring food, they smile.
