Dearest Nightmares Poem by Crystal Pierce

Dearest Nightmares

Rating: 4.5

To my dearest nightmares,
you give me lots of scares.
So to you I say 'good luck'
so amuck amuck amuck

I salute the monsters under my bed,
to you guys that pull the hairs on my head.
To you who make me run down the hall,
and you who put stuff in my way to make me fall.

Congratulations! You've scared me right out of my pants.
And I bet you would follow me to France.
I'm wishing you the best of the scaring worst,
but you've scared me till I've screamed myself horace.

It's common for you to scare,
and this I am aware.
But you should really try some new tricks
because this isn't getting you any kicks.

You're my friends now!
Do you want to know how?
You no longer scare me,
this is how it should be!
