Deja Vu (A Prayer) Poem by Sonya Florentino

Deja Vu (A Prayer)

I know you've saved me once before
Will you do it again
It seems I've reached another road
Again, a dead-end

You showed me I was wrong before
Took me by the hand
You made me see the light of day
So I could start again

I think I've gone this way before
Tell me if I'm right
Tell me I can get through this
That I can win this fight

I know I've walked this path before
And you were there for me
So once again I say this prayer
For you to rescue me

I'm sure I've made this turn before
Tell me I am wrong
Tell me I can always find my way
